IT STARTS WITH A CONSULTATION.
Phone consultations are available for simple sessions. 30 minute and most 1 hour sessions can be discussed via phone call. For multiple session (senior) bookings, weddings, & extended families, studio consultations are recommended. In person consultations are required when you would like for us to design a session to flow cohesively with your home decor. During your consult we will discuss scheduling, outfits, locations, what you would like to do with your portraits, and you can preview all of our products available. Make sure to let us know before your appointment if you are interested in wall portraits for a specific wall, as we will request for you to bring photos of your space. Weddings will also have a final consultation 2-3 weeks prior to the wedding day to discuss details & set the timeline.
After your session
After your session is completed, you will sit down together with Kayla at the studio to select your best images. With 30 minute sessions & most studio sessions, this happens immediately following. For on location sessions, we will reach out within 1-2 weeks to schedule an ordering appointment. For seniors this is scheduled after all sessions are completed. Ordering appointments are optional for weddings, but required to select your images from wedding “sessions.” No additional purchases are required, but you will have the opportunity to purchase extra digital images or printed products.
It doesn’t have to end there
Designing wall portraits & galleries is one of my favorite things to do. I understand this is a sizable financial commitment for most families, so I want you to be 100% happy. This process starts in the consultation appointment. You can bring quick photos of your space & we can discuss exactly what you’re looking for. I’ll take everything into consideration then propose a look that I think will reach these goals. After your session, I will walk you through how to take pictures of your walls for me to use during your ordering appointment. You’ll be able to preview your images as wall portraits (to size scale) on your own walls before committing to the purchase. For portraits size 24x36” and up and wall galleries, delivery & installation is complimentary. It is available as an add on to smaller portraits.
